Hi All,
I am trying to match some of the interior teak for a new electrical panel but can't seem to find the right tint of red they used. Does anyone know what the factory oil was that gave these boats the red hue?? The boat is a 79 36T if that helps..
I've made test sample on new teak of out 10 stains and some oils...

RC, I've had the sme problem with my 27. I assume it's the same factory finish. I applied a cota of water based stain by Saman called Spice #208 topcoated with Danish oil and it seemd to match best. See www.samanwoodstain.com/

Thanks Dan!
If the 9 cans of stain and two Watco oils don't give me a match I may go that route..
