My cs30 is dripping at rest in the slip at 30 to 50 drops per minute. So I know I need to tighten the adjusting nut or replace the stuffing. I think the nuts or hollow bolts are 2 inch. Is that correct? Or are they bigger? What size stuffing do I need? Plan to buy vortex at west marine. I plan to by two 2 inch open end striking wrenches to do the job, but wonder if two plumbers wrenches might be better. Any thoughts appreciated.

I just saw this today. No need to struggle with locking nut. Just give it a sharp hit on one of the faces with a regular hammer to send it in the right direction. No need to hit it hard. This always loosens it and it can then be further loosnend by hand or with wrench. I've done it several times and it works. Steve Walker
